Elky Seahorse Swim Team (5 - 18 years)

The YMCA of Elkhart County Elky Seahorses is a YMCA competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for ages 5 to 18 years old. The goal of our team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to experienced swimmer.

Swim Team is for Y members only and new swimmers must be at least Minnow level and pass a swim test to be enrolled. This is a recreational-based league with winter and summer seasons where participation, sportsmanship, team spirit and individual stroke improvement are the key focus. This program encourages and emphasizes good sportsmanship, self-discipline and achievement of goals, regardless of ability, keeping in mind the Y philosophy of developing a healthy spirit, mind and body. Swim Team practice times are subject to change throughout the year to accommodate general membership usage and swim lesson instruction.
