In summer day camp, the Y provides children and teens with safe outlets, positive role models, new friends and opportunities to achieve their full potential. We believe summer camp is something every child should experience so we provide financial scholarships for families who cannot afford it. If your family needs a little help to make camp a reality, scholarships are available and completely confidential. If you can help send a child to camp, please consider giving. Your gift of camp is tax deductible and will help give local children a summer they will never forget.

Traditional Day Camp

From swimming to craft projects and outdoor education, Y Day Camps offer campers a day full of “typical” camping activities—including songs, games and plenty of outdoor fun and adventure. Campers will have the chance to build self-confidence, discover new skills, develop a respect for the outdoors, and make new friends. Best of all, you can be assured that while your kids are exploring new ways to have fun, they are being well cared for in a friendly, safe environment. Days are spent primarily outdoors, so campers should dress to get messy!

Specialty Camps

Another weekly choice for your child is our Specialty and Sports Camps. These camps are uniquely created to develop youth. Specialty Camps are week long camps that provide children with a summer full of fun activities including dance, swimming, gymnastics or youth sports.

(except Monday, July 4.)

Before and after care gives you flexibility while your kids are safe at the Y. This is informal time when your children are supervised as they play a variety of self-directed games and activities. You may purchase a pass which includes 11 hours of Before and/or After Care.
