What's more cute than the smile of a child? Proper dental care is important for people of all ages but teaching kids healthy habits when it comes to their teeth should be a top priority. According to Dental Guide USA, 42% of children 2 to 11 have had Tooth Decay in their primary teeth. Yikes! Good thing our Wanke Youth Center is bringing in the experts to talk with our Elkhart youth about this very issue. Read more...On December 9th Kool Smiles from Elkhart is coming to our Y Wanke Youth Center to educate kids on the importance of brushing teeth.
Lots of fun activities will be included such as puzzles, games, worksheets and very COOL GIVE-AWAYS! Also, at a later date Kool Smilies will return to the Y and do teeth screenings
We need to encourage our youth to participate in this important program. Here's our chance to help get our kids on the right track.
